"Hey Mom!
I did it!"
Sarah may not be able to walk, but she can ride, thanks
to the help of the volunteers, instructors and contributors
of S.T.A.R.S., Siouxland's therapeutic riding program.
S.T.A.R.S. has given physically, cognitively and emotionally challenged
individuals the encouragement and support to accomplish
things they never thought possible.
Therapeutic riding serves as physical therapy; it also
teaches patience, cooperation, control, and what it means
to achieve.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining the
S.T.A.R.S. therapeutic riding program, contact us at (712)
