STARS Hires Executive Director

The Special Troopers Adaptive Riding School’s Board of Directors has voted unanimously to create the position of Executive Director and to hire Jessie Christopherson to fill the role. Jessie is no stranger to STARS as she has served as a Certified Instructor and the Marketing Coordinator for the past three years. Her promotion as Executive Director comes with much enthusiasm from the Board and her passion and dedication to STARS is a wonderful asset.   Jessie will also continue her work as an instructor at STARS in addition to her duties as Executive Director. 

Jessie is a graduate of Kansas State University with a dual degree in Animal Sciences and Communications and Journalism.  She and her husband, Erik, are natives and long time residents of the Sioux City area. 

The board, staff, riders and volunteers wish to welcome Jessie to this position and look forward to an exciting future of growth and expansion of the STARS program.
