The Special Troopers Adaptive Riding School (S.T.A.R.S., Inc.) is a non-profit organization that improves the well being of individuals with physical, cognitive, emotional or behavioral challenges through therapeutic horseback riding, canine services and other animal-assisted activities. Activities at S.T.A.R.S., Inc. can increase range of motion, flexibility and fine motor control; enhance speech and language, improve self-esteem and self-control and foster positive relationships and learning opportunities.
